Kelly Cook • Camp Director
Kelly Cook, was named the 2016 Patriot League Coach of the year. The Bucknell staff was also named NSCAA Regional Staff of the Year. In her second season leading the Bison the team finished as Patriot League Regular Season Champions as well as Patriot League Tournament Champions. The team finished with an overall record of 16-2-2 and 8-1 in the Patriot League. The 2016 season goes down in the record book as the most success season to date for the program. Eight Bison student athletes were name to the All Patriot League teams, 2 students were named NSCAA All Region and 1 student athlete was named as a NSCAA All American and a NSCAA Scholar All American.
Leigh Howard • Assistant Camp Director
Leigh enters her 3rd season as an assistant coach for the Bucknell’s women's soccer team. Leigh helped to lead the Bison to the Patriot League Championship this year and a record of 16-2-2. She was part of the staff named NSCAA Regional Staff of the Year.
Howard, who was also an assistant basketball coach at Trinity for two years, holds a National Soccer Coaches Association of American (NSCAA) National diploma and coaches at the highest level of U18 club soccer. She graduated from the College in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in psychology, and earned a master's degree in American Studies from her alma mater in the spring of 2014.
DAVID MADSEN • Assistant Camp Director
David enters his 3rd on the Bucknell staff and helped to lead the Bison to the Patriot League Championship this year and a record of 16-2-2. He was part of the staff named NSCAA Regional Staff of the Year. David is responsible for coaching the Bucknell Women’s Soccer goalkeepers. This year David coached the Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Year.
Among his myriad of duties at Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Madsen served as the team's goalkeepers coach. His top goalkeeper in 2011, Jamie Forbes, posted 11 shutouts and was named the Horizon League Goalkeeper of the Year and Co-Defensive Player of the Year. Most recently, keeper Paige Lincicum was named to the Horizon League All-Freshman Team in 2013.
In addition to his on-field duties, Madsen played a major role in the program's recruiting efforts, and he helped coordinate a number of community service and alumni events. He also assisted with the team's academic enhancement efforts, and during his five years in Milwaukee coached nine NSCAA Scholar-All-Region and three Scholar All-America student-athletes.
